- Do Now: Setup Quarter 3 section of INB: Evolving Perspectives with Shakespeare's Othello
- After: Understanding Critical Perspectives in Literature with Thug Notes (explicit)
- Then: Skip the FIRST TWO PAGES of Section 3. Title the NEXT PAGE Critical Perspectives. Write today's date at the top-left. Divide the page into five sections (each five lines should be enough). Label each section with the following perspectives: Reader Response Criticism, Feminist Criticism, Marxist Criticism, Cultural Criticism, Archetypal Criticism.
- Next: Use the classroom activity to complete each section. You will need to evaluate Shakespeare's Othello from each perspective next quarter. You will also need to show how your EA 1: Scene Interpretation expresses one of them over the rest.
