- Round 1: Discuss the attitudes towards imperialism in the poems. Are there other poems that you found which reflect different attitudes towards imperialism?
- Round 2: How do these attitudes reflect different cultural perspectives.
- Round 3: How does learning about cultural perspectives effect your writing of something like EA2: the reflective essay?
- Next: Reflect on progress toward your Personal Goal

- Continue drafting EA2 in Google Classroom. A complete draft must be ready by the beginning of next class.

- Do Now: Turn to Workbook p. 69. Read the During Reading question above the blue box. After, preread About the Author, marking the blue box for any details that you believe might be helpful in understanding the reading.
- After: Listen to Lindo Jong: Double Face on Workbook pp. 69-70, marking for details about being a 'stranger in a village.'
- Then: Use the Evaluating and Checking and Editing questions on Workbook p. 81 to help revise your EA 2.
- Alternate Activity: Listen to James Baldwin's Stranger in a Village on Workbook pp. 71-79
